Meet Rafa Sabbagh who has dedicated his career to driving  business agility and digital transformations for companies ranging from startups to multinationals.

Equipped with a Master's in Business and a Computer Engineering degree, Rafa has been deeply involved in the world of product development and business agility since the mid-2000s. His expertise and passion have led him to personally train more than 10,000 professionals. He has provided consulting and conducted training sessions in more than 20 countries, such as the USA, Brazil, Spain, Peru, Colombia, India, Hong Kong, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland, and the UK. Through his work efforts, he has empowered individuals to transform their careers and helped teams and entire companies enhance their efficiency and effectiveness, always with a strong focus on delivering value faster.

Rafa's impact extends far beyond his training and consulting endeavors. He has been a prominent figure at international events, sharing his knowledge and insights with diverse audiences, including major agile conferences worldwide. Through his experiences, he has gained a broader perspective on global knowledge work practices and the challenges faced by different cultures and communities, which allowed him identify key challenges and provide innovative solutions.

With a wealth of experience, Rafa is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), from the Scrum Alliance, and an Accredited Kanban Trainer (AKT), from the Kanban University. From 2015 to 2017, he even served as a member of the Scrum Alliance Board of Directors.

In 2013, Rafa authored the first book about Scrum written in Portuguese, which has become a respected reference in Brazil. Its third edition, published in early 2022, further solidifies its relevance in the industry, and is now available in English.
